Beyonce's skin-tight corset look is so 'clueless'

Beyoncé brought in the New Year with a Clueless corset vibe while infusing her look with the silver aesthetic she has been sporting for the last year.

The music star posted snaps posing in an outfit resembling Cher Horowitz’s iconic style from the 1995 chick flick Clueless. It famously starred Alicia Silverstone and the late Brittany Murphy. She also gave the Beyhive a glimpse at how she spent Christmas with her husband, Jay-Z, and their three children, Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir Carter.

In the pictures posted to her Instagram, the Break My Soul singer wore a neutral gray matching plaid jacket and mini skirt along with a white corset. She accessorized with a white bag and white-rimmed sunglasses. Her jewelry was also on theme as she donned some dangling silver earrings and a teardrop-shaped necklace.

Bey is clearly still very much in her Renaissance era, a year on from the album’s release, as gray and silver have been very loved and used since it began.

Beyoncé is also likely paying homage to the movie character Cher from Clueless, with her outfit. In the film, Cher (Alicia Silverstone) can be seen in one scene in her yellow plaid jacket as she pushes a classmate away in disgust and exclaims: “Ugh! As If!”

She also shared a look at her nails, which had a drawing of Santa’s hat on for the Christmas season and their tall, very decked-out, Christmas tree.

Fans can’t get over the singer’s look

Beyoncé’s house was decorated in just three days

Not only did Beyoncé get dressed up in a Clueless getup for the festive period, but she also had her house decorated in a very short amount of time

Bob Pranga, who is known for decorating celebrities‘ houses and trees for the holidays, was tasked with making Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Malibu home festive. He told People the celebrity couple’s house was “captivating” and like “a movie set.”

“I received a call from her assistant, conveying their decision to spend Christmas in Malibu… just three days before Christmas,” explained Pranga. “All these people were hired to make this house perfect before they got there for Christmas Eve.”

He added: “Beyoncé is just a lovely lady. She’s very chill,” explained Pranga. “People are always looking for those wonderful or horrible stories of celebrities.”
